Stefano Amantini a professional photographer since 1987, Stefano Amantini was born in Florence, Italy in 1957. After earning a master's in anthropology, and completing a number of photography assignments in the field of advertising, he decided to concentrate on travel reportage. His cultural studies, sensitivity and inquisitive nature guided him to distant and exotic destinations such as the Sahara desert. His career took a positive turn and direction in 1991, when he and other two photographers -Massimo Borchi and Guido Cozzi- founded Atlantide, a photographic agency specializing in travel reportage. Amantini collaborates with major travel magazines -both Italian and foreign- which has published his work, including GEO Saison, V&S, Bell'Italia, In Viaggio, Gente Viaggi, D La Repubblica, Panorama Travel, Dove, GEO (France and Spain), Wine Spectator, Condé Nast Traveler, National Geographic Traveler, The New York Times and Rutas del Mundo. Thanks to magazine assignments and his own personal travel projects, he has built a vast and unique photo archive. This has established a solid base for Amantini to pursue personal creative expression through photography. His work includes limited edition prints and special projects focused on enhancing the quality of Atlantide archive.
 
   
Massimo Borchi born in Florence in 1962, after studies in architecture Borchi has dedicated himself to professional photography. He co-founded the photo agency Atlantide -which specialized in travel reportage- in 1991, when he began to collaborate with the major travel magazines in Europe and the United States (Geo Special, ADAC, Merian, New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, Gente Viaggi among others). Since 1995 he has worked on important projects for books published in many countries. Recently he has decided to produce reportages for Atlantide and to focus his work mainly on the metropolis, analyzing the relationship between man and architecture in all its related aspects.
 
   
Guido Cozzi born in Florence in 1962, Guido Cozzi started taking photographs as a child, and has worked as a professional photographer since 1987. He is also one of the co-founders of the Atlantide Phototravel agency, which specializes in travel and geographic reportage. "I am privileged to be able to observe the world as a photographer," he says. "In the past 15 years I have shot hundreds of photos by travelling to assignments in over 80 different countries. Many of these were commissioned by the most important travel magazines. Today I prefer to alternate between personal projects, fine art research and free lance productions in conjunction with a small group of journalists who share my interest in the extraordinary adventure of daily life."
